Fire Protection Special Hazards Suppression Systems
FSI Fire Safety is a leader in the design, installation, and service of fire alarm, suppression, and fire sprinkler systems. Our continued growth and success has produced a need for a Fire Sprinkler Installation Foreman, Fire Alarm Technicians and Fire Sprinkler Technicians at several of our locations.
Locations are: Fort Huachuca, AZ (Sierra Vista); Andrews AFB, MD (Alexandria); Keesler AFB, MS (Biloxi); Clarksville, TN
Fire Sprinkler Installation Foremen are responsible for the installation, service, and repair of fire protection systems including: wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam suppression systems; as well as fire pumps and backflow devices. Emphasis is on manual skills, ability to lead others and critical jobsite decision making skills.
Technicians provide electrical services with specific responsibility for installing, repairing and/or replacing fire alarm systems and related equipment; maintaining a regular inspection schedule; documenting activities; assisting other skilled trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are available as needed.
Technicians for installation and inspection of Fire Alarm and other low voltage systems including Burglary, Access Control, CCTV, Mass Notification, Intercom and Data, among others. Provides electrical services with specific responsibility for inspecting, testing, installing, repairing and/or replacing fire alarm systems and related equipment; maintaining a regular inspection schedule; documenting activities; assisting other skilled trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are available as needed.
Responsibilities include the following.
Installs, repairs, and inspects smoke and fire alarm systems; inspects tests, and repairs fire alarm wiring, fire alarm panels and peripheral equipment.
Identifies hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
Inspects, repair or replace smoke/heat detectors; tests fire alarm systems using appropriate diagnostic programs and equipment.
Complete all activities related to service and installation of fire alarm systems
Complete fire alarm testing documentation
Ensures that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
Perform other related duties as assigned and as necessary depending on the situation and location.

Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Maintain a NICET II Certification or higher
Proficiency in MS Excel and email
Strong customer service skills and communication
Knowledge of current codes & standards (i.e. NFPA, UFC, IFC, ADA, TJC)
Technical Experience in Fire Alarm Systems
Valid State issued Driver License required.
Ability to work independently and under stressful conditions involving deadlines with dependable outcomes.
Ability to rapidly adapt to changing work type environments.
