CORE COMPETENCIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES Job Technical Skills – Assists in providing professional engineering support while learning the specifics of working in an electric utility setting which may include the following: developing engineering guidelines, developing long and short-range construction programs, coordinating implementation of construction programs, developing financial plans for capital construction and coordinating with adjacent electrical utilities. Specific duties include assisting in the completion of studies and justification packages to identify and document the need for and benefits of capital improvement projects, and solving technical issues using electric system data. May lead small projects with minimal guidance. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
Communication – Seeking a candidate who expresses ideas and information in a clear and concise manner whether verbally, written, or other means; tailors message to fit the interests and needs of the audience; delivers information in a manner that is interesting and compelling. Project Management – The ideal candidate in this role establishes project goals, milestones, and procedures, defines roles and responsibilities, acquires project resources, coordinates projects throughout company, monitors project progress, and manages multiple projects. Adaptability – The individual in this position maintains a positive attitude in the face of change; appropriately adjusts behavior and activities to changing conditions. Job Technical Skills – The successful candidate keeps his/her technical skills current; effectively applies specialized knowledge and skills to perform work tasks; understands and masters the technical skills, knowledge, and tasks associated with his/her job; shares technical expertise with others.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or other Engineering degrees.
