| We are currently seeking resumes from qualified Civil Engineers to lead the Civil Engineering aspects of our land development projects and our large scale solar and wind power generation projects across the United States. The essential functions and responsibilities will be to perform engineering assignments and tasks, compile data, lead and perform design computations (such as grading, drainage, estimating), lead the preparation of all aspects of engineering CAD plans and construction details, mentor a team of civil EITs, manage projects and clients, and collaborate in our business development activities. This position reports directly to our Energy Group Practice Leader and will work closely with our project managers. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, technically proficient, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, and is team-oriented. Travel is required periodically. Working Conditions and Environment: This position will require general supervision and will have to use independent judgment within established guidelines. Generally uses advanced knowledge to analyze, interpret, or make deductions from varying facts or circumstances. Will need the ability to establish rapport quickly with others working on the same project, and be able to promote a positive team environment. A working knowledge of dealing with a diverse population while using tact, diplomacy, and respect.
