Are you a creative and motivated scientist with experience innovating biochemistries for Next Generation DNA Sequencing (NGS)? Then this position on an interdisciplinary team responsible for innovating biochemistries and platforms for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) may be for you. Candidate should have experience working in the field of DNA sequencing, or in the study of DNA-processing enzymes such as polymerases and helicases. Single-molecule and biophysics experience preferred.
 
Tasks and Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will design, execute and analyze experiments, utilizing an understanding of DNA, enzymes and biophysics.
• Systematically determine causes of, and troubleshoot solutions to, sticking points, with defined goals and timeframes.
• Effectively work within multidisciplinary teams and routinely interact with synthetic chemists, protein chemists, and engineers to solve problems and devise experimental plans.
