The Project Manager serves as the expert for multiple projects and/or programs and is responsible for the overall success of biomarker and diagnostics services supporting clinical studies with pharmaceutical companies. This position will be responsible for the full life cycle of the project and management of program stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *Establish and build relationships with Pharma companies and work to obtain new projects for Navigate. Serve as primary account manager and escalation point for large sponsors / programs. *Manage and coach members of the Project Management team to ensure best practices are utilized and compliant management of projects *Support training and onboarding of Project Management associates and documentation related to project management team *Establish and oversee project plans with detailed timelines by working with cross functional teams, defining roles and responsibilities, setting deliverables and managing Navigate activities from initiation to completion. Ensure timely and accurate completion of project milestones. *Life cycle management of projects including removing hurdles related to assay optimization/development/validation, assay transfer, clinical trial setup, specimen testing, test reporting and data transfers. *Provide regular updates to management, governance teams, and sponsors. Communicate back to internal groups the expectations set forth for each group i.e. clear details, critical timeframes, deliverables and expectations. Review and report on project metrics, examine trends and proactively resolve issues. *Evaluate project performance and recommend refinements and improvements of all components of projects. *Support process and operational improvement initiatives, including change management activities to facilitate adoption by team members.
