Niagara County Community College has a need for a part time Instructor to teach a Supply Chain Management Course in our Workforce Development Division.
This position will be responsible for instruction of the program and course outlines; Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for Logistics courses; Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives. Development of the Supply Chain Management curriculum and program syllabi, including appropriate goals, objectives, student learning outcomes and assessment measures for the program.

Typical Work Activities:
Teach Supply Chain Management Courses in the delivery format agreed upon (on campus, hybrid, blended or online)
Track attendance as needed
Demonstrate knowledge of current practices in Transportation Management Systems, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Procurement, Warehousing and other fields relating to the transportation and logistics industry.
Define how to assess student learning outcomes, foster effective learning in both classroom and lab settings, and promote good public relations via contacts, and regular communications with business, industry, and the public sector.
Understands and is experienced in practices and procedures in the Logistics & Supply Chain Management field.
Develop courses for the Logistics and Supply Chain Management curriculum which includes developing student learning outcomes and assessment measures.

Other work-related duties as assigned by Supervisor
Ability to work with, and teach a diverse student population. Ability to speak in front of groups of people. Must be able to effectively communicate with students, co-workers, supervisors and the campus community. Must be able to develop, prepare and present information. Must able to operate computers. Ability to develop instructional materials, evaluating students' progress in achieving instructional goals and objectives. Ability to handle administrative responsibilities related to teaching of courses. Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Education with 2 years' experience in supply chain/logistics.
