The Human Resources Administrative Assistant (Senior Administrative Assistant) will provide administrative support for the KCTCS Office of Human Resources. Perform administrative functions for the Chief Human Resources Officer and HR staff. Provide technical support for HR staff including data entry, proofreading, and formatting of web, Excel, and Powerpoint documents. Will assume the lead for various administrative functions within the Office of Human Resources.
Provide administrative support for the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to include efficient organization and maintenance of the calendar, managing daily appointment requests, projects, workflow within the area of Human Resources including HR Peer Team; gather, analyze and prepare Personnel Actions Report for KCTCS Board of Regents; assist with the maintenance of HR Operational Procedures; document and report preparation, editing correspondence, secure electronic and paper filing; maintain knowledge transfer documents for department.
Review, balance and reconcile department budget; order departmental supplies; process Worksite Wellness budget expenditures in accordance with KCTCS Business Procedures and timelines
Serve as first level of support for System Office HR staff, taking and relaying messages accurately, with prompt action as needed.
Facilitate the Service Awards Program and other duties as assigned by AVP of Human Resources
Minimum Requirements - Associate's degree and three (3) years relevant experience or equivalent.
Preferred Competencies - Bachelor's degree and five (5) years relevant experience or equivalent.
KY law requires state and national pre-employment background checks as a condition of employment.
