In summary, reporting to a Controller, the HR Manager is a member of the management review team and will support an employee base of approximately 150 employees across two facilities. This is a very hands-on generalist role with the support of an HR Administrator.

POSITION The HR Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization’s HR function including: • Employee Relations. • Maintaining policies / procedures and compliance with all laws and regulations. • Oversight of and making recommendations for record keeping. • Recruitment and interviewing for salaried and hourly roles. • Conducting exit interviews and making recommendations for improved employee retention. • Orientation and establishing / maintaining technical training programs. • Benefits Administration and working with Controller and broker on benefit renewals. • Participate in labor negotiations. • Attending safety meetings and coordinating with the safety broker.
BASE REQUIREMENTS • Associates degree in Human Resources or HR Certification preferred. • 3+ years of related experience required. • Manufacturing industry experience preferred. • Strong experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook. • Ability to travel to out of state facility typically once a quarter or as needed. • Must be able to pass a physical, background check, and drug screen.
