Fiddlesticks Country Club is seeking an Assistant Superintendent. He or She will work directly under the guidance of the Golf Course Superintendent. The Assistant Superintendent will learn all aspects of TifEagle, TifGrand and Celebration bermudagrass management, to help further his or her career in the turfgrass industry.
Fiddlesticks Country Club is scheduled to host the USGA Women's Mid-Amateur in September 2022. This will be a great opportunity to experience course preparation for a USGA event.
Applicants must understand they will primarily be working outside under Florida weather environments which may include hot summer days, cold mornings, and rainy conditions.

Physical demands required bending, stooping, sitting, lifting. May exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
A minimum of 2 years working in warm-season turf preferred. Prior management of staff is a plus.
Ability to share work load on weekends and holidays.
Ability to communicate and work as a team, NOT as an individual.
Basic computer and software knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
