The Indiana Memorial Union (IMU) has been the heart of the Indiana University Bloomington campus for more than 100 years. Each year thousands of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests enjoy the many amenities and opportunities the IMU has to offer. The 189 room Biddle Hotel, located within the Indiana Memorial Union, is the largest hotel in Bloomington, Indiana. At the Biddle, guests enjoy upscale accommodations and first-rate amenities while only being steps away from some of Bloomington's best dining, shopping, arts and entertainment, and nightlife.
Removes dirty linens and remakes beds; cleans and disinfects guest rooms.
Cleans hallways, corridors, and other areas as needed.
Restocks hotel rooms with clean linens and amenities.
Restocks housekeeper carts and deposits soiled linens and trash into the proper areas.
Operates washers, dryers, and ironing equipment to clean linens for the Biddle Hotel.
Folds sheets, towels, and other linens to prepare them to restock rooms.
Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively.
Working Conditions / Demands
Must be able to work with cleaners and disinfectants. Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Ability to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.
