The RN TA Consultant will work in partnership with the Program Manager of Clinical Workforce Pathways, VP of Talent Acquisition, workforce development team and overall talent acquisition team on strategic nursing related workforce pathways, strategies, pipelines, recruitment, and career pathway programs. The consultant will utilize her nursing clinical expertise to provide strategies to increase nursing candidate sourcing, outreach, and workforce recruitment and clinical pathways. The RN TA Consultant will coordinate our Onsite Nursing Assistant Program. The RN TA Consultant will participate in career fairs, events, and sourcing activities to reach nursing candidates. The consultant will serve as a critical liaison for nursing and talent acquisition. The consultant will step in with nursing expertise to provide insights and expertise to reduce time to fill and providing direction on candidate expertise. The consultant will partner with internal clinical leadership and HR stakeholders in critical health care areas and external stakeholders to include secondary education, post-secondary education, community groups, non-profit organizations, trade associations, labor, governments, and other key partners. The consultant will provide interventions to match jobs to nursing positions. The consultant will be accountable for working with our external partners to refer new entry level hires for wrap around support if needed, such as transportation, child care, coaching, ESL. This consultant will also act as an internal and external workforce liaison and resource in the areas of job seeking skills, career pathways, creative design of educational programs and workshops, and practical application of workforce development ideas. Some travel will be involved to represent career pathways, grant awards, workforce recruitment events and other activities. The RRN TA Consultant is an active member of the Talent Acquisition Team.

Coordinates Onsite Ontrack NA Classes so we have an internal pipeline.
Coordinates additional nursing and nursing support pipelines including international nurse recruitment.
Manages funding in health care workforce programs at one time.
Reviews and oversees workforce agreements/contracts to meet legal/tax compliance.
Coordinates academic and workforce central contracts meeting all regulatory requirements.
Develops and maintains strategic alliances with internal and external stakeholders. (Involves external boards and councils)
Maintain a high level of accountability and customer service with attention to Fairview values.
Ongoing review of processes and identify areas of process improvement opportunities where possible.
Documentation of processes.
Designs, develops and implements organizational health care education programs and sponsorships.
Coordinate all aspects of the healthcare sponsorship programs.
Participate in interdisciplinary teams responsible for design and implementation of healthcare programs and sponsorships. This may include curriculum development.
Acts as a liaison for educational partners and internal nursing leadership, partners, monitoring and communicating Fairviews workforce needs and availability of students for sponsoring.
Markets programs to employees, educational partners, interested individuals, and outside agencies as appropriate.
Prescreens applicants and conducts interviews.
Provides a candidate pool of nurses to the nursing recruitment team.
Coaches and supports employees/and Earn and Learn Participants participating in our programs and sponsorships.
Conflict resolution of issues that arise
Acts as an internal and external nursing and healthcare resource and Fairview representative in the areas of job seeking skills, career pathing, creative design of educational programs and workshops, practical application of workforce development ideas, specialized healthcare recruitment and retention, presentation materials, etc.
Serve as Fairview Talent Acquisition liaison to the system leadership to review and research creative nursing related workforce solutions.
Serve as the Fairview representative at state healthcare meetings
Workforce content expert to explore innovative programs (new healthcare programs, foreign workers, diversity, etc.)
Develops and gives presentations related to health care workforce trends, statistics, development, recruitment and strategies as needed to students and community partners as requested.
Answers referral calls from within Fairview, outside agencies, and individuals regarding areas of high need, educational planning, job seeking skills, and career pathing as it relates to nursing.
Research new and/or improved solutions for filling health care workforce critical shortages (examples: DNP, Wound Care).
Collaborates with internal and external (grant, education, community, etc.) partners on creative and practical solutions to nursing workforce challenges.
Continually monitors ongoing healthcare workforce programs for effectiveness and coordinates changes as appropriate.
Assists team members in design and editing of materials used for presentation, marketing, workshops, etc.
Key player to provide insights into nursing healthcare recruitment and retention strategies.
As assigned, develop work plans, lead and/or serve as a facilitator to various Talent Acquisition initiatives.
Participates in FV workforce planning groups/committees, etc., as applicable
Partners with State and Federal Workforce related agencies on strategic workforce pipeline and partnerships. Also works as a key partner to our local government, workforce centers, and community based organizations on strategic workforce recruitment solutions.
Develops and maintains data tracking and analysis as related to Nursing Workforce Development, Sourcing, and recruitment.
Bachelors degree Nursing
Experience working in partnerships to secure nursing talent
Registered Nurse License
Advanced nursing degree or training in program/project management
Additional Requirements (must be obtained or completed within a period of time) :
Five to ten years of recent talent acquisition related experience including workforce development, recruitment, sourcing, onboarding, or education. Previous workforce grant and contracting coordination, project management skills; previous experience developing, coordinating, and implementing education to employment programs from inception to delivery; previous experience working on process improvement; ability to think outside the box and recommend/champion innovative solutions to problems; ability to cross over duties and responsibilities to assist colleagues in small environment; strong skills in program development and data analysis; ability to think globally as well as manage details; experience in education program design and implementation; strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio; must be organized and detail oriented; able to understand health care workforce trends and propose solutions; strong written and verbal skills; excellent customer service skills; able to work independently as well as on teams; proactive; approachable; persuasive; can do attitude; strong problem solving skills; strong decision making skills and able to manage deadlines. Experience working with staffing vendor, compliance, regulating and auditing.
