Oversee fertilizer and pesticide applications including record keeping. We use playbooks to record all applications on-line.
Supervise and assist in course and driving range set up.
Responsible for setting up task tracker job board and supervising the crew on designated days.
Maintaining irrigation system by helping with programming, monitoring for leaks, daily log of water meter and regular inspection of pump station.
Monitoring sand depths, edges, firmness and playability of bunkers.
Installation, removal, troubleshooting, adjusting and regular maintenance of 67 fans.
We encourage our assistants to play golf but is not a requirement.
Responsible for training, daily planning, scheduling and the supervision of golf course maintenance staff.

Preston Trail Golf Club was established in 1965. An 18-hole par-72 private golf club originally designed by Byron Nelson / Ralph Plummer. Complete renovation of the property in 2009 by Tripp Davis. Followed by a bunker renovation and other construction enhancements in 2018.

Education: two year Certificate, associates or Bachelor degree preferred
Experience preferred: Bent grass, minimum of 2 years golf course experience, chemical applications, golf course set-up, irrigation maintenance, fertility practices, cultural practices as well as a good basic knowledge of all aspects of golf course management.
Looking for a self motivated individual with excellent attention to detail, positive attitude and willingness to be in a supervisory position. Must be hard working and punctual with a sense of urgency.
