The Keck School of Medicine is seeking to hire a Full Time Administrative Assistant I.
The Administrative Assistant will support the day-to-day administrative operations of the Hematopathology Division within the Department of Anatomic Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
The incumbent will:
Serve as internal resource for our faculty, administrators, staff and students and perform administrative duties associated with staff scheduling, coordinating meetings and planning events.
Coordinate with key vendors for services, assist in maintaining office equipment and purchases, prepare agendas, gather and organize supporting information, and oversee production and distribution of related materials for our department.
Type and proof correspondence, memoranda, reports, proposals, technical papers, manuscripts, other documents, and related materials for supervisor or department staff as requested.
Respond to inquiries and requests for information requiring knowledge of departmental and university policies and procedures.
Research and gather data for departmental reports. Conduct preliminary analysis of data. Recommend report content and format to display findings most effectively.

Day Shift: Monday - Friday 40 hours weekly
Salary: $21.28 + DOE
Minimum Education: Associate's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum educationMinimum Experience: 2 yearsMinimum Field of Expertise: Secretarial or specialized clerical, including some administrative experience.
