You will lead and partner with a team of administrators to identify opportunities for innovative approaches to physician education while maintaining processes that support national accreditation and compliance requirements. Manage the day-to-day operations, provide supervisory oversight and organizational planning for OCME&LL (65%)
Maintain an understanding of ACCME accreditation requirements, national trends, and opportunities to guide operations and services.
Manage day-to-day operations for the OCME&LL team, provide organizational planning, administrative oversight, and direct supervision of staff.
Oversee implementation of OCME&LL programs and projects. Review work and resource allocation, delegation, and monitor progress through agreed metrics and timelines.
Optimize team performance by providing additional resources, informed support, and recommending training as needed for core function development.
Oversight is provided to the core OCME&LL functions of: application processing, activity and registration build, customer support, compliance, outreach, training, and communications.
Identify metrics and timelines for all operational functions and roles.
Regular review of staff performance and ability to meet metrics and timelines. Provide regular feedback to all staff regarding performance and measures of success.
Manage financial planning and budget maintenance to align with and support the day-to-day operations of OCME&LL. Periodic review of systems supporting effective financial operations.
Partner with the Assistant Dean to Operationalize the OCME&LL vision, strategic direction, and operations (20%)
Collaborate to propose operational changes in support of the overall vision and strategic direction.
Collaborate to create and maintain operational efficiencies and unit effectiveness.
Review and discuss project prioritization for the achievement of function area goals and objectives.
Collaborate to identify and agree on function area metrics and timelines.
Collaborate and co-create strategies for operationalizing innovation guided by users needs, expectations and requirements.
Collaborate in a periodic review of organizational functions, resource allocation and staff productivity and performance metrics.
Shared review of key organizational functions: compliance, customer service, quality, outreach, training, and communications.
Application, Activity, and Registration administrative support (15%)
Provide oversight to the application, activity, registration, and closeout process
Review and process applications for CME credit
Provide Service Now support through our HITS support team system
Assist with MiCME quality control, maintenance, and support

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or similar
Considerable professional experience with reasonable prior management, supervisory or team leader experience
Masters degree in Healthcare Management or similar
Project management qualification or certification
Proven experience in human resources and supervision of teams and individuals
Proven experience in performance management and team development
