Under minimal supervision, performs complex and diverse duties in support of a department or group of professionals. The position is responsible for preparing and processing records and reports, managing record-keeping systems, ensuring effective and efficient daily office operations, representing the University to the public and providing professional, courteous customer service at all times, and performing related duties as assigned.Â This position supports the Dermatology Department.
Provides complex administrative and secretarial support; schedules an coordinates meetings and appointments, researches and compiles data for reports and studies, composes and/or prepares routine and confidential reports and correspondence, makes travel and accommodates arrangements for staff.
Assists in planning and implementing various CME programs, special projects, activities and services related to CME as assigned; may independently coordinate assigned programs or projects
Compiles and develops assigned budgets; may assist in administering grants; may monitor expenditures, process invoices, process payroll, reconcile accounts, and prepare related financial records and reports.
Attends meetings; provides administrative and clerical support to various committees, commissions and task forces as required by the Chairman and Director
Establishes and maintains record-keeping systems; may assist in coordinating the implementation and application of information technology systems to support area of responsibility
Handles confidential issues or sensitive records on a routine basis for the Chairman.
May supervise, delegate the work and train other clerical staff; arranges for employee training by scheduling training or organizing training material.
Perform general office duties, such as ordering Faculty specific supplies, maintaining records management database systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work as needed.

High school education or equivalent; supplemented with five plus years of related experience. Associates or Bachelor degree preferred.
