WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Stryker's Digital, Robotics, and Enabling Technologies division is looking for a person who demands an appetite to learn in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. This position will work from our South Florida manufacturing site located in Weston, FL.
DAY TO DAY:
Lead the mechanical design and development of Robotic components, assemblies, and BOMs
Generate detailed engineering drawings and specifications
Documentation of Verification testing and associated development (may support test fixture development)
Lead and participate in DHF updates
Participate in cross-functional design reviews
Conduct appropriate analyses to support design decisions (i.e., FEA, stack-ups, thermal, etc.)
Develop and maintain individual deliverable timelines
Support multiple development projects concurrently
Travel as necessary to support project meetings, training, supplier visits, etc.
Lead the creation of prototypes, inclusive of procurement, building, and testing.
WHAT YOU NEED:
BS Degree *plus* 6years of regulated industry design experience -or- Master's degree *plus* 4 years of regulated industry design experience
3+ years of SolidWorks experience in 3-D CAD modeling
At least a year of professional experience with New Product Development (NPI) focused on Mechatronics (Electro-Mechanical) designs
3+ years of experience working with FEA Analysis, and tolerance analysis within a regulated industry.
Proficiency in MS product suite (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
