Junior Research Scientist (Full-Time)
The laboratory of David N. Levy, PhD, within the New York University College of Dentistry Department of Molecular Pathobiology, has an exciting opportunity for a research assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience in the fields of molecular biology, virology, and / or immunology. The laboratory is looking for an individual with the skills needed to conduct experiments examining the replication and molecular biology of HIV. Experience in primary cell isolation and tissue culture as well as molecular biology techniques is required. A considerable amount of responsibility will be assigned to the person holding this position.
Please note, working with infectious HIV and patient samples is a job requirement.

The ideal candidate must have a BA/BS or MS in Biology or related field and 1 or 2 years of research experience. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
