Under general direction, the Facilities Administrative Assistant works on operational and/or procedural assignments that require the exercise of considerable discretion and independent judgment. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
The Facilities Administrative Assistant provides direct support to the UCSF Fresno programs through the public facing mainline phone, mail/delivery sorting, single use and recurring meeting use through the facilities room reservation request process, events scheduling and logistics. Under the direction of the EHS/Security specialist, this position also provides support for access badging and key check-out. The individual will provide administrative and training logistics support for the Facilities Director and the EHS/Security Specialist.
