The incumbent will serve as a high level professional whose activities will span the interface between the physicians and nurses who manage primarily Pediatric General Surgery patients and also some Pediatric Plastic Surgery patients at Benioff Children's Hospital, San Francisco. The Nurse Practitioner will act as a full member of the Surgery Team, taking responsibility for the safe delivery of care to both inpatients and outpatients, in collaboration with attendings and residents. This team member will meet productivity expectations as set forth by the Chief of Surgery, performing any duties related to patient care activities that are appropriate and clearly delineated.
