Job Title: Industrial Engineer 

Department: Operations

Location: Olive Branch, MS

Reporting to: Vice President of Operational Excellence 

Job Summary:

The Industrial Engineer will create, develop, and implement efficient manufacturing systems, reducing costs while maintaining standards of operations.

Job Function:

· Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identifies waste.

· Develop and implement solutions with a Safety and Quality mindset.

· Design facility layouts that improve production flow.

· Partner with the Plant General Manager.

· Recommend Capital purchases that optimize cost.

· Evaluate labor utilization and develop standards that optimize cost.

· Develop and recommend equipment movement and/or Plant consolidations.

· Develops timelines and coordinates with appropriate team to maintain schedules.

· Evaluate and update manufacturing standards as appropriate.

· Up to 50% travel required. 

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
• 2-5 years of engineering experience required.
• Capable of creating Value Stream Maps.
• AutoCAD experience is a plus
• Distribution Center experience is a plus
• Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Documentation and organization skills.
• Capable of creating presentations.
