The Role: We're looking for an experienced recruiter who will join the Americas People Movement team to specialize in sourcing and hiring top talent across the S&P Dow Jones Indices division. This position will face off to our senior leaders and play a pivotal role in driving hiring across the region.
The Team: The Americas Market Intelligence, Strategic Alliances and S&P Dow Jones Indices recruitment team is a dynamic one that strives for individual and team development. Your immediate team is primarily located up and down the US East Coast and Argentina, with broader team members in the EMEA and APAC regions, respectively. The team is close knit, yet truly global, and you will be provided with countless opportunities to learn transferable skills & global recruitment best practices.
The Impact: This role is key to ensuring the successful recruitment of high-quality and diverse talent for the roles within the S&P Dow Jones Division (S&P DJI) in the most time and cost-effective way possible. In working with us, you will be exposed to a very professional, high-level consulting environment across multiple job functions, business lines and beyond People Movement.
What's in it for you: Your primary responsibility will be to take ownership of all aspects of the recruitment process within the S&P DJI division for Latin America, the United States and Canada. You will champion the full cycle recruitment strategy, including role profiling, candidate sourcing, CV screening, and the overall candidate experience. You will also shape and develop these processes and help manage broader segments of the Market Intelligence and S&P DJI business. The role is designed to expand with you as your skillset grows.
Responsibilities: - Support hiring managers to fulfill their hiring needs and execute all facets of full cycle recruiting process from the sourcing strategy meeting, all the way through offer and onboarding.
- Analytical Relationship Management - Manage both relationships and the process though metrics - (internal and recruiting vendors) maintaining accurate and up to date recruiting data. Present management updates on recruiting activity as needed.
- Educate business leaders and HR to change current practices where necessary and promote recruitment best practices.
- Manage diversity initiatives and provide knowledge of new and diverse sourcing tools and programs.
- Attract and recruit the highest caliber candidates in a cost effective and time efficient manner with the ability source beyond LinkedIn, with a proven professional network and the ability to continually innovate/maximize sourcing strategies
- Maintain strong understanding of S&P business and industry and be able to convey the S&P Global Employee Value Proposition to external partners and candidates
- Strategic Partnering: Ensure recruiting is delivered as part of the broader strategic talent-management agenda for the Division Leads, Senior Managers, HR Stakeholders and TA team
- Focus on new and innovative techniques to ensure a positive candidate experience, for both hired and declined candidates, to reinforce the S&P brand reputation.
Basic Qualifications: - Minimum of 4 years of full cycle recruiting experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate processes and activities to senior managers, hiring managers, and other stakeholders
- Ability to effectively collaborate across organization boundaries.
- Strong written and oral communication skills -- comfortable presenting to small/large groups
- Strong business acumen and commercial savvy
- Strong ability to lead and motivate with an open communication style
- Ability to manage the resume review, phone screening and candidate evaluation processes
- Focus on diversity and inclusiveness, and giving candidates an amazing experience
- Used to managing reqs around 20-30 at any one time with global stakeholders
- Ability to understand the highly complex roles and specific requirements of the S&P Dow Jones Indices Division to authentically represent the brand in the market and effectively filter the highest quality prospects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in utilizing ATS (Workday)
- Experience with applying metrics to drive performance
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $56,600 - $129,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.
