The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:

Providing comprehensive health care services in an outpatient setting to children and adolescents with benign hematological disorders, with an emphasis on patients with sickle cell disease.
Fulfilling an integral role across the continuum of care for hematology patients by serving as an educational resource to patients/families within the Hematology program.
Delivering advanced, compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse population, cultivating internal and external collaborative relationships, and adapting to changing technologies and an evolving model of patient care within the Hematology program.
Working full time 40 hours per week

To qualify, you must have:

Master's degree in Nursing and current Nurse Practitioner license or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies and Physician Assistant license.
A minimum 2 years of pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner/PA experience is preferred, but exceptional recent NP graduates will be considered with 3 years of acute care RN experience.
Ability to work independently and possess excellent time management skills, as cross coverage with other mid-level providers in Hematology will be necessary.
