Our Nuclear Engineering department is seeking an Administrative Associate II to provide support to the department head, associate department head, faculty, business manager, other staff members, and students of the Nuclear Engineering Department. The position provides day to day academic, administrative, financial, and personnel support for the department.

In addition, this position coordinates the graduate program and serves as the departmental subject matter expert to all graduate students, responsible for departmental timetables, compiles student data, oversees departmental scholarship distribution, and provides administrative support to the department. The position is the administrative first point of contact within the department.

This position will be responsible for effort certification approval, system entry process for graduate students, friends of the university, and research staff, facilitates hiring paperwork of student workers, compiling student data for accreditation reporting and programmatic assessment reports, supports as needed for departmental tours for prospective students, and handles queries in our systems such as Banner, Argos, and Slate.

This position will also be proctoring exams, maintain the exam share-site and provide information to students, maintain student files, and handling administrative support for the Department Head, Associate Department Head, and Faculty as needed to schedule meetings, fulfill UT printing requests, manage the phone line, coordinate travel, and coordinate the Programs for Minors compliance.
