The MTS Executive Administrative Assistant to the Vice President and Academic Dean provides administrative support through coordination of communication to seminary faculty and service providers of MTS and MBI, offers administrative support of faculty meetings, workshops, and committees. Assists with coordination and development of strategic projects, and general administrative support to the Vice President and Academic Dean.

Professionally communicate events, agendas, reports, and other information on behalf of the Dean’s office to seminary faculty or Service Providers.
Collaborate with other seminary administrative staff and Service Providers to ensure clear communication to seminary faculty
Administrative support for faculty meetings, workshops or events
Create and publish Faculty Meetings, Committee Meetings, and Workshops schedule each semester and reserve all needed rooms for faculty meetings and faculty workshops
Create and develop agendas or program for faculty meetings, workshops, or events
Responsible for archiving faculty meeting and workshop minutes in print and electronic form
Develop and maintain Seminary SharePoint document server for administrative staff and faculty
Facilitate communication with Michigan campus of Moody Theological Seminary
Development of MTS Student Handbook with Student Development
Coordinate the ordering of office space and supplies for MTS staff and faculty
Provide telephone coverage for the Vice President and Dean
Reconcile and maintain P-Card records on behalf of Vice President and Dean
Coordinate Vice President and Dean’s schedule
Coordinate travel and accommodations for Institute travel
Assist with the development of the Seminary annual report and sections of the Education Group annual report which pertain to the Seminary
Coordinate data for accrediting bodies (ATS, HLC, ABHE, ESDC) in the excel document
Assist with onboarding for adjuncts and faculty positions for MTS
Oversee and maintain accurate information as Web Content Manager for the MTS website
Oversee syllabi collection each semester
Other duties as assigned by the VP and Dean
BA in Communication, HR, Organizational Leadership or related field.
Five plus years’ experience in administrative or operational role.
Skilled in Interpersonal Communication
Experience with Word and Excel a must. With ability to learn new technology.
