Overview:
The facilities and event management coordinator has oversight and responsibilities for all events and activities that occur in the O’Keefe Complex including in the Rockett Arena, Twohig Gym, Central Campus athletics facilities, and Equipment Room. Primary duties include facilities operations and maintenance; grounds and game management. The representative or coordinator will also supervise and mentor student staff assist with game, event, and facility operations. This ten month, full time position works with internal and external community members to assist with reservation and rental opportunities.

Please Note: This is a ten month position.
Required Qualifications:
- Two years of direct experience in an ice arena facility administration to provide maintenance and operation of Rockett Arena
- Knowledge of ice-making equipment and mechanical operation of Zamboni
- Experience supervising personnel
- Experience organizing and implementing a master calendar of events
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with faculty, staff, and students concerning use of facilities
- Ability to work with community athletic directors and city officials
- Ability to operate and perform basic repairs to all ice-making equipment
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle, lift and carry heavy objects, and exercise sound judgment

Office activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and interaction with computer equipment; occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 5-10 pounds.
