The Archdiocese of Milwaukee is seeking a dynamic Catholic leader to serve as Superintendent of Catholic Schools.  The successful candidate will oversee 101 Catholic elementary and high schools, working with principals, administrators, pastors, lay leaders, teachers and staff to ensure high quality, accessible and affordable Catholic education across the archdiocese.

The Superintendent of Catholic Schools manages a staff of five, including three associate superintendents, in delivering resources, training, support, direction to school leaders and volunteer boards.

The successful candidate will understand the strengths and challenges of Catholic education, particularly in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, and be a tireless advocate for Catholic schools.  We are seeking an experienced Catholic educational leader who is a solid administrator and is committed to furthering the mission of Catholic schools through the integration of faith with culture.  .  Experience on both the elementary and high school levels is a plus.

The Superintendent is appointed by the Archbishop of Milwaukee and reports to the Chief Operating Officer for day-to-day operations.

The Superintendent must successfully build relationships with stakeholders, including principals, clergy and donors.

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee has 85 elementary schools, 16 high schools, and a thriving Parental School Choice program.  Regional systems have been and are in process of being implemented, including Seton Catholic Schools, a network of 11 central city Milwaukee schools.
