We are looking for a highly-motivated, people-friendly, organized human resource manager to work in our employee-oriented high-performance culture emphasizing empowerment, motivation, productivity, goal attainment and goal attainment. The Human Resources Manager is a key member of the HR team, providing support for a wide variety of activities across multiple departments, with a focus on organizational change, employee relations, talent and performance management and strengthening communications across the organization.
Position Overview
This role fosters strong partnerships across the organization through serving as an employee advocate and consultant to management. As an organizational change agent, this role delivers value-added service that reflects the employee and business objectives of the organization, while anticipating HR-related needs.
The HR Manager will collaborate with department staff to develop employee projects, policies, and training that cultivate an inclusive work environment for all. The Human Resources Manager communicates needs proactively with our HR department and management, developing and implementing integrated and collaborative strategic initiatives. Other administrative job duties include monitoring onboarding procedures for new employees, payroll, managing time-off requests, conflict resolution and coaching, and ensuring the company complies with all state and federal workplace regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess and drive employee engagement and retention by focusing on employee relations, learning and development, performance management, and employment law compliance
- Develop comprehensive employee policies to foster an inclusive and positive work environment

- Partner with leadership to develop and drive strategic HR initiatives in support of organizational goals, objectives, and DEI practices
- Lead HR activities such as strategic staffing, employee relations, organizational development initiatives, compensation planning, change management, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and HR communications
- Manage Employee Relations – including employee conflicts, coaching, and other development opportunities
- Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information
- Coordinate and perform new employee onboarding
- Manage the annual employee review process, including wage recommendations
- Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resources, business administration or a related field
- 3-5 years related experience
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be a confident self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently, but must have the flexibility and interpersonal skills to work as an effective member of a team.
- Effective critical thinking and evaluation skills
- Interact effectively and build relationships with leadership, colleagues, as well as other internal/external business partners.
- Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Exhibit excellent analytical, organizational, reasoning, time management and problem-solving skills
