Job Summary: | This position performs UHS HR activities across multiple functions, including recruitment, performance management, database management, staff communication and training. Specific duties will include:
Administration of background checks Administration of I-9s Management of communication channels and staff responses via email and UHS intranet, as well as HR support for UHS employee newsletter Maintenance of the UHS HR database and internal HR dashboard Development of workflows and training materials for assigned areas

Responsibilities: | Performs routine human resources activities and provides general administrative support in more than one functional area such as recruitment, classification, payroll and benefits for a work unit. Serves as a resource contact disseminating information on rules, regulations, procedures, and statutes. - 20% Interprets, applies, and disseminates routine recruitment and staffing policies, procedures, and options to leadership and employees; recommends best strategies according to established objectives and goals
- 30% Assists with recruitment, personnel resource allocation, new employee orientations, and maintenance of employee records according to established policies and procedures
- 25% Prepares and organizes routine administrative communications, resources, and reports and maintains office equipment and supplies, under close supervision
- 25% Receives and responds to inquiries in-person, via email, and through various communication mediums and relays information to appropriate entities

Highly preferred candidate will also have customer service experience and HR training, such as courses toward a certificate.

Work Schedule: | Standard hours are between 8a and 4:30p; One Tuesday a month schedule is 9a-5:30p; Additional flexing of hours may be needed to meet operational needs. |
