The Chemistry Department invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in biochemistry or chemical biology beginning July 1, 2022. The teaching load is five courses, including laboratories. Teaching responsibilities for the position will include courses and laboratories in biochemistry and may include introductory chemistry, an integrated majors lab course, organic chemistry, or an advanced course in the candidate's area of expertise. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to mentor student research projects. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry and be committed to undergraduate education and demonstrate excellence, or the potential for excellence, in teaching undergraduates.
