Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Administration (DA), the Administrative Assistant will provide academic administration and leadership support for the program directors and faculty at Wurzweiler School of Social Work.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation for graduation, orientation, lunch and learns, alumni, and other Wurzweiler events
• Attend committee meetings for the planning of events
• Assist with monitoring and responding to email inquiries for events, including CE events, graduation, orientation, etc.
• Assist with creating, and emailing CE certificates to participants in a timely manner
• Assist with creating and emailing SIFI certificates for field education
• Assist with processing and filing the Care Cafe grant expenditures, receipts, and contract agreements with speakers, vendors, and research assistants as needed for grant reconciliations
• Assist with preparation and ordering supplies for Care Cafe events as needed
• Assist with outreach and updating the Alumni database
• Support day-to-day administrative functions and projects as needed

Experience & Educational Background:

• High School Diploma required; two years of college preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in an active work environment
• Ability to learn systems
• Develops effective relationships with peers, faculty, program directors, deans, and external parties
• Highly self-motivated and extremely well organized
• Assumes responsibility to ensure issues/concerns will be addressed and monitors them through conclusion
• Ability to navigate the Internet as well as conduct a variety of searches
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Effectively manages own time and resources
