Woodmont CC, located near Washington DC, is a private 36 hole facility that is seeking a motivated individual to be part of a positive team environment. Woodmont began some exciting course improvements and additions last fall, which will provide the club with some of the best golf facilities on the East Coast. In October of 2021 the South Course began a full golf course renovation, which includes a new irrigation system, new bunkers with Better Billy drainage, large Zoysia fairway expansions, and re-grassing of greens, tees, and rough. Additionally, the club recently completed constructing a 9 hole Par 3 course that is set to open this fall.

The North Course was built in 1951 and features A-4 USGA greens, Penncross tees and tall fescue rough. The North Course recently completed multiple course improvements, including a complete bunker renovation, green complex adjustments, re-grassing of approaches to 007 bentgrass, and fairway alterations. The North Course is one of the top-rated clubs in the state of Maryland, gaining such recognition in both Golf Digest and Golfweek. Often one of the favorite courses amongst area professionals and top amateur's, the North Course is an annual host to a final US Open Qualifier. The North Course was also recently host to the 2020 US Women's Amateur, won by the world's #1 ranked amateur, Rose Zhang.

The South Course was built in 1955 and features Meyer Zoysia fairways and push-up Poa/bent greens. As mentioned above, the South Course began a full renovation in October of 2021. The renovation will provide a fun, member friendly layout that will include over 60 acres of short cut (greens, tees, & fairways) and provide two great, contrasting golf experiences.

We are looking for hard working, self-motivated, individuals who are willing to work in a positive team environment and seek learning opportunities to advance in the field of Golf Course Management. Assistants will be involved in the daily management of either the North or South Course and will work closely with the Superintendent and other Assistant Superintendent's. Experience in the following areas is preferred, but not required: Fertilizer/pesticide calibration and application, course setup, irrigation repair, disease identification and water management. Spanish speaking skills are also a plus, but not required.
