What will you be doing in this role:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for entire project life cycle. This includes, but is not limited to, facilitating the following functions: system requirements definition, process and/or workflow redesign, business case development, Request for Proposal development, vendor evaluation and selection, and contract negotiation and development. Ensures contract compliance, risk analysis, project scope, implementation management, and support transition.
Lead all aspects of scrum project development for Digital Web and Mobile applications.
Responsible for working with our operational partners in developing and planning the project timeline including all project phases-requirements: discovery, conceive, development, Q/A and testing, end-user training, go-live readiness, and support.
Facilitates activities including all sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospective.
Track sprint status and resolve impediments or blocked user stories as needed.
Facilitate meetings and cross-team coordination to resolve dependencies, manage expectation and achieve alignment with stakeholders.
Lead cross functional project teams by task assignment and follow up to ensure timely completion.
Formulate and propose decisions regarding a technical project, deployment, or strategic initiative.
Responsible for written/verbal communication within stories, epics, task, sub-task.
One (1)+ years of experience in managing projects, preferably IT projects in a health care organization.
Project management experience, using Project Management Institute and/or Information Technology Infrastructure Library Foundation principles, or completion of the Cedars-Sinai recognized project management course within the first year of employment.
Demonstrated experience in systems analysis and vendor/customer interactions.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, project development, and management software.
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field. (preferred)
PMP, CSM certification preferred.
