Summary: Group Manager, Project Management (LEAD AGILE COACH / SCRUM MASTER) Pershing X Technology is looking for a senior agile coach who can lead the organization in its planning and execution through SAFe Agile methodologies.
We're looking for a SAFe agile coaching expert adept at assessing, prioritizing, and facilitating organizational change and ongoing management for all teams.
The candidate will work with teams and management which will result in sustainable organizational improvements in the planning, delivery and reporting of the technology portfolio.
The coach will identify areas of focus to deliver training, recommend strategies for improvement and recommend best practices with existing and new tools.
The candidate will be hands on and manage a team of scrum masters who will provide direction and guidance for a wide array of activities associated with planning and delivery to ensure that initiatives are completed on time, within budget and to stakeholder specifications.
Responsibilities: - Provide hands-on support to teams in adopting an agile mindset and practices with a focus on growing capabilities in the teams
- Plan for and run collaborative environments such as PI Planning meetings and training workshops
- Effectively mentor teams, individuals & leadership in teamwork skills and the application of agile principles
- Be willing to experiment, fail and innovate in order improve effective collaboration and execution in a distributed organization to promote shared understanding and inclusion of all perspectives
- Focuses on strategic Agile improvements throughout the firm through identifying systemic knowledge or process gaps and designing and developing assets to strategically improve the organization
- Defines and ensures consistent enterprise-level Agile standards and best practices
Coach Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of ten (10) years progressive experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to executive management.
- SAFe agile Certification
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM)
- Agile Practitioner Certification (ACP)
- Expertise in JIRA
